Role: Manages operations of the Radiology department, working closely with off-site radiologists and physicians. Responsible for developing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality, cost-effective radiology services. Key Responsibilities Plans, implements, and evaluates departmental services to maintain quality and efficiency. Maintains records for Quality Assurance, accreditation, OSHA, and legal compliance. Assists in preparing and monitoring the departmental budget, ensuring financial objectives are met. Collaborates with leadership to solve operational issues and improve productivity. Performs quality control testing and generates quality assurance reports on radiology equipment. Coordinates staff and student training, orientation, and scheduling to optimize department performance. Supports application and implementation of computer systems. Recruits, hires, trains, and evaluates staff; leads performance reviews and coaching. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree (completion within 5 years of hire). Preferred ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT). Leadership and management experience preferred. Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to perform essential functions with visual acuity and effective hearing.
